Ease of Pond Filter Cleaning
The patented Powerclenz automatic cleaning is unique in that by twisting a knob, the filter automatically cleans itself. Simply turn the tap to position "Clean", and the foam will be squeezed by up to one thousand pounds force through water pressure, forcing out pond sludge.
Vortex flow design (pictured below) of the Ultraviolet Clarifier increases water contact time with the ultraviolet light, while the slim diameter lamp allows the water to get closer to the intense UV rays. This increases the amount of organic matter that is exposed to the lamp and increases the efficiency and capacity of the unit.
Heavy algae blooms are removed in most ponds within 5 days, keeping the pond algae free. This means water clarity is improved while reducing pond maintenance. Each unit is compact, durable, easy-to-install and energy efficient.
The most efficient flow rate is 50% of total pond volume. The UV Clarifier is not submersible and should be brought in during the winter months when temperatures are at or below freezing.
